I love these elegant, eclectic images! In the summer I like decor that is sleek and clean, but in the winter, cozy and cluttered is what it's all about! Also, I have to thank Rebecca at Acanthus & Acorn and Anna at Lona de Anna for the fabulous blog awards!

Very, very wonderful Shari! Our new rooms are almost ready, and there is a point at which the EMPTY space appeals to me. I am almost AFRAID to fill up the room for fear that the FREE AND OPEN space will be gobbled up, but as I look at all the photos your provide, they do show that a filled up room is a loved, lived -in room!!!! MERCI! Anita
ReplyDeleteSo with you - eclectic is the way to go!
ReplyDeleteThanks to you.....every morning, I get to live somewhere else, lol....:)

I love all that light streaming in on the 2nd image and the art wall in the 3rd, swoon.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely want a wooden dinning table at some point! :)
ReplyDeleteThat last room is so cozy.. it feels like the perfect place to curl up and hide from the freezing temps.! xo
ReplyDeleteI love that dining rom table and the colors in the second photo are pretty amazing. Bright yet bohemian looking, I like that feel.

Greetings from Norway:)
I love these interior scenes. Thanks for sharing. I always love to see table settings -- they say so much about those who live there, how they live.

ReplyDeleteI could imagine eating a warm hearty meal drinking vintage wine with family and friends in that fist room...thanks for taking me away for a min.
ReplyDeleteOh those tufted rolled leathers couches get me every time! I hope I own one some day :)
ReplyDeleteLove the textiles in the second picture!
ReplyDeleteI want a seat at that table! xx
ReplyDeleteOooh congrats on the awards! :) And cozy & cluttered describes my apartment perfectly right about now :) xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love the table in the first photo and the couch in the second. It is so amazing all that you can do when designing and arranging a room!
ReplyDeleteAll three of these are cozy little heavens! I would take any of them! The most beautiful part is the confidence that it takes to mix and match and throw caution to the wind :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!

pretty rooms..somehow the "clutter" looks so awesome and organized..whereas my "clutter" looks a mess! ;)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Smooth and dark and a little mysterious. I just love your titles also.

Wow that first image is stunning. I can't stop staring!
ReplyDeleteThe best part of these is that they look actually lived in and realistic. I love the dreamer rooms too, but these spaces are like comfort food. If I was a guest, I would be staying awhile :) XO
ReplyDeleteI love that elegant doesn't have to mean stuffy and formal! These are great examples of a relaxed version.

Great rooms
ReplyDeleteYes, stacks of magazines, lamps, rugs, cups of steaming coffee--these are the bits that make the winter more bearable! Love this post!

Yes, the first picture is so very VERY much my style. I just love the chunky table. I covet the tiny pencil candle holders. Love all of the rough textures and the eclectic mix. Your blog is so well done! I'm seriously thinking about having you do my blog title...
ReplyDeleteThat last pic is of Thomas O'brien's last place. I've been obsessed with it since the very first time I saw it!
ReplyDeleteLove the room on the first image. Love your blog, Shari. Definitely, without question, one of the best out there.
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to pull off that collected look. So far it just resembles clutter.
